The first match of the day saw the Sailfish holding the Warhawks to a .046 hitting percentage as AUM totaled 23 attacking errors, including 10 total blocks from PBA. Anna Gregerson and Amber Rowoldt led the Sailfish with four total blocks each.

After trailing early in the first set, PBA took a 13-9 lead thanks to a 8-1 run that included two kills from Jazz Schmidt. The Sailfish stayed in control for the rest of the set. Kills from Rowoldt and Caroline Swan clinched a 25-20 set win for the 'Fish.

PBA carried its momentum into the second set. A pair of kills from Jordan Rush along with a kill from Sam Wolf got the Sailfish off to a strong start. PBA led the entire set as it was able to hold off a 4-0 run from the Warhawks down the stretch to take the set 25-19. AUM hit just .028 in the set.

The 'Fish had to play from behind to start the third set. AUM held an 11-7 lead early in the set, but PBA remained within striking distance. With the set tied at 21, the Sailfish went on a 4-1 run, including two kills from Swan, to win the set and the match.

The second set was a back and forth affair that included 10 lead changes as neither team could pull away from the other. PBA had its backs against the wall down the stretch as the Blazers led 24-23.
