WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – Palm Beach Atlantic men's tennis picked up a 5-4 win over NCAA Division I Cleveland State on Wednesday afternoon.

The 'Fish trailed 2-1 after doubles play as Rodolfo Hasegawa and Thomas Salmon were the lone winners for PBA on the day. That duo defeated Gabriel Evtimov and William Malm 8-4 at No. 3 doubles.

In singles play Salmon was able to pick up a 6-3, 6-3 victory at No. 5, defeating Mirko Radosevic. Pato Zarazua won at No. 1 after Nico Mostardi retired after the first set. Pietro de Silva was also a winner, taking down Evtimov 6-3, 4-6, 6-1 at No. 4.

Everything came down to No. 6 singles as Carlos Niemeyer was able to pull out the straight sets victory over Jack Santilli to secure the win. Niemeyer won 6-3, 6-3 to give the ''Fish their fifth win in six matches.

PBA returns to the court to take on Southern New Hampshire at home on Friday at 4 p.m.
