YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. – Grant Gullett poured in 20 points as the Sailfish returned to the win column on Friday afternoon, defeating Young Harris 78-74. The Sailfish led for nearly the duration but had to hold off the Mountain Lions late to secure the win and even their record at 7-7 on the season.

PBA trailed for just 90 seconds in the game, midway through the first half, and opened up a double digit halftime lead of 12 at 41-29. Gullett scored nine of his 20 in the first half as the Sailfish used a 13-2 run over the final five minutes of the half to take control. Gullett had two buckets during the run with De'Ondre Jackson also scoring four points in the run. Jackson finished the half with nine points and tallied 16 in the game.

In the second half the Sailfish pushed the lead out to 17, 55-38, with just over 13 minutes to play as Gullett finished off a three-point play. The Mountain Lions (2-6) used a 9-2 run inside of four minutes to cut their deficit down to three but Bakari Warthen nailed a floater in the lane with 26 seconds left to push the lead back out to five. A free throw by Jules Jasmin and an offensive rebound from Lucas Morales sealed the victory for the 'Fish.

Warthen scored eight of his 10 points in the second half as the junior was 5-of-8 from the floor. He also led the team with six rebounds. Gullett finished the game 8-of-11 from the floor and 4-of-5 at the free throw line as the Sailfish were just 6-of-9 at the charity stripe in the game. The Sailfish did shoot 56.1 percent from the floor including connecting on 8-of-15 from long range.
