Box Score FT. MYERS, Fla. – In a rare opportunity to take on an NCAA Division I opponent in the regular season, Palm Beach Atlantic women’s soccer traveled across the Sunshine State for a matchup against Florida Gulf Coast University and fell by a 4-0 final at the FGCU Soccer Complex.
The Eagles flexed their muscles throughout the course of the game, outshooting PBA 24-1 overall and 16-0 in shots on goal. FGCU scored two goals in each half to cruise to the shutout victory.
Keeper Kayla Wincko was able to make a career-best 12 saves on the night, but it wasn’t enough to slow down the Eagles’ offense.
Palm Beach Atlantic returns to action on Saturday, October 25th, as they travel to Melbourne to take on Florida Tech at 4 pm.
