Born January 28th, 1990... Majoring in Communications with a minor in Cross Cultural Studies... Aspires to be a news anchor or work for TOMS Shoes... Chose PBA because she came from a small Christian high school and enjoyed the atmosphere and spirit there that she wanted a college that fit that same description. Plus she loves the beach... Favorite verse is 1 Peter 3: 15-17... Favorite teams are San Antonio Spurs and Carolina Panthers... Favorite athlete is Tim Duncan... Daughter of Reuben and Kim Villarreal... Has one sister, Leah.

2009 (Sophomore)
Made positive strides throughout the season as a right-side hitter, both off the bench and spending some time as a starter... Appeared in 24 matches with 22 starts and a total of 86 games played... Registered 100 kills (1.16 per game) which placed her fifth on the team while adding in 34 assists, 48 digs, and 61 total blocks (four solo, 57 assists)... Finished second on the team in assists and third on the squad in total blocks.

2008 (Freshman)
Appeared in 24 matches as a true freshman while earning a starting spot towards the end of the season... Registered 50 kills (0.80 per game) while also chipping in 13 digs and 36 total blocks (33 assists/3 solo).

HIGH SCHOOL
Attended the Covenant Day School while competing in both volleyball and basketball for coaches Mark Helmer and Heather Mills... An All-Conference selection during all four years of her volleyball career, Villarreal also earned All-State accolades in basketball during her senior campaign... A member of her school's National Honor Society.
