PERSONAL
Born Oct. 15... Majoring in biology/pre-health with a minor in Spanish... Aspires to become a medical doctor... Chose PBA for the Christ-centered nature and emphasis on helping and caring for the community as well as the support from the volleyball program to grow in the sport and also prepare you for the future... Favorite Bible verse is Romans 8:37... Favorite team is the Seattle Seahawks... Favorite athlete is Jonathan Toews from the Chicago Blackhawks... Daughter of Kurt and Gail Anderson... Has two siblings: Linnea and Drew.
2018 (Redshirt-Junior)
Played in 11 matches before missing the majority of the season due to injury...totaled 56 kills, averaging 1.27 kills per set while hitting .226 from the middle...recorded 31 blocks and 10 service aces...had a season-high nine kills against Hillsdale (Sept. 14)...posted a season-high seven blocks against Puerto Rico-Mayaguez (Sept. 6).
2018 (Redshirt-Sophomore)
Jennie spent her redshirt-sophomore year as a starting middle for the ‘Fish and had a huge year, posting 248 kills with a .363 hitting percentage and 155 total blocks (1.24 blocks/set) on the year … named Sunshine State Conference Defensive Player of the Week on Oct. 29 … posted double-digit kills in eight matches on the year … had 13 kills and no errors in just 15 attacks in a win over Lee University on Sept. 1 … had 11 kills and a career-high 10 blocks in a road win over No. 4 Tampa on Oct. 27 … had 24 kills and just five errors in three postseason matches in the NCAA South Region Tournament. Named to AVCA and D2CCA All-Region Teams ... selected to the AVCA All-America Honorable Mention team.
2017 (Redshirt-Freshman)
Jennie played in 12 matches in her redshirt-freshman season with the ‘Fish … finished with 31 kills in just 56 attacks on the year as she finished with a .500 hitting percentage … had a high of eight kills against Alabama-Huntsville on Oct. 13 at the South Region Crossover Tournament … had seven kills and no errors in 14 attacks in a sweep of Tampa on Sept. 29 … finished with 13 total blocks on the year.
2016 (Freshman)
Sat out the year as a redshirt.
HIGH SCHOOL
Graduate of Hudsonville High School where she was an all-state performer for the Eagles... helped guide the team to district titles in 2014 and 2015... as a sophomore was part of a conference championship team... was a co-captain and co-mvp... finished 7th in the state in hitting percentage for middles...was a three-time academic all-state honoree... all-conference and all-region performer in 2015.
