Palm Beach Atlantic University Athletics

Suzana Andrade joined Palm Beach Atlantic prior to the 2024 volleyball season as an assistant coach. 

"I am extremely excited to join a team full of incredible individuals," said Andrade. "I am blessed to work with coach Jeff Huebner and coach Luiza Andrade, and I am very grateful for our athletic director, Courtney Lovely-Evans who has welcomed us to the sailfish family. I am thrilled to see growth in this program and help student-athletes become the best version of themselves."

"Coach Suzana is a great addition to our program," said head coach Jeff Huebner. "She has a really unique background spanning indoor, beach, and research that will allow us to broaden our perspectives as coaches. She is incredibly intelligent and thrives in high-pressure solution-based situations. I am sure that her experiences will add value for our student-athletes and campus."


Andrade brings a wealth of experience to PBA after starting her collegiate playing career at Indian Hills Community College, where she played for the indoor squad for two seasons. She played in 68 matches as a libero for a team that was ranked inside the top-10 and earned All-Conference honors individually. From there, the Brazil native transitioned to beach volleyball where she played at Stephen F. Austin and graduated with a degree in Kinesiology.
