David Gordon begins his second season as an assistant coach with the Palm Beach Atlantic volleyball program.
Coach Gordon assists the team and coaching staff with administrative duties while also aiding practice sessions, travel and scouting.
A native of California, Coach Gordon attended both Biola University and Le Tourneau College where he competed as a baseball player. He would also go on to earn a degree from the Logos Bible Institute in Sun Valley, Calif.
His family has a rich history in sports evangelism including his parents founding Sports and Cultural Exchange International (SCEI) in 1960. Coach Gordon now acts as the Director of SCEI and serves alongside his wife, Brenda.
Coach Gordon has been an active athlete and coach in both baseball and volleyball throughout his life while competing through SCEI on various amateur teams throughout the world. He has also spent time coaching in Lakeland, Fla. with Lakeland Christian School.
The Gordon family has one son, John, and a daughter Jennifer, along with seven grandchildren (Macie, Avenleigh, Leia, Lily, Clara, Blaise and Micah).
