Palm Beach Atlantic University Athletics

James Friddle enters his fifth season with the Palm Beach Atlantic in 2017 and his third as the assistant head coach for the volleyball program.

Coach Friddle will assist Sailfish head coach Bob White with on-court instruction, travel, operations and other administrative duties.

A 2012 graduate of King (Tenn.) College, Friddle is the all-time kills leader for the Tornado men’s volleyball program while being named twice to the All-Conference team.

Not only a standout on the court, Friddle was named as an All-Academic selection by the Conference Carolinas as both a junior and senior as he pursued his degree in Finance with a minor in Coaching from King.

Born in Greenville, South Carolina, he would later move to Cartersville, Georgia and graduate from Cartersville High School.

He earned his Masters of Business Administration from Palm Beach Atlantic in the spring of 2015. Resides in West Palm Beach, Fla. with his wife Andrea.
