Palm Beach Atlantic University Athletics

Abby Michalski begins her second season as the Palm Beach Atlantic women’s volleyball assistant coach in 2019. Michalski (formerly Shelton) joined Head Coach Doug Walters from Cedarville University where the duo worked together during the 2017 season.

Michalski joined the coaching staff at Cedarville for the 2017 season after a decorated four-year playing career with the Yellow Jackets. During her time on the court Cedarville won three G-MAC championships and clinched their berth into the NCAA Division II Midwest Regional for the first time in program history during the 2016 season.

At PBA, Michalski will work primarily with the pin hitters, a position she’s familiar with after playing as an outside hitter at Cedarville. She racked up 1,342 kills during her career while adding 931 digs and 161 total blocks. Michalski will also assist in the evaluating and recruiting perspective student-athletes to the program.
