Lenz begins his first season as a member of the Palm Beach Atlantic coaching staff for the 2017-18 season. Lenz played for the Sailfish during the 2016-17 season as a graduate student.
In his only year for the Sailfish, Lenz posted an 11-9 overall record and a 3-4 mark in the Sunshine State Conference. He was 8-6 overall at No. 2 singles while posting a 2-1 mark at the top spot of the lineup. In doubles play he teamed primarily with Bernardo Ferreira as they led the team with 12 doubles victories, posting a 12-6 overall record. Their 3-3 record in league play was the best on the team as the duo played exclusively at No. 1. Overall Lenz was 14-7 in doubles action.
Prior to joining the Sailfish he was a member of the Keiser University team, posting a 26-8 overall record in two years as a Seahawk.
