A four-year member of the PBA men's tennis team, Battistini joined the Sailfish as an assistant coach in 2018 and is in his second season with the Sailfish.. Battistini will be assisting with both the men's and women's teams during the spring season.
During his four years wearing the Sailfish uniform he racked up 48 singles victories and 47 doubles victories. His junior year (2015) was his best for the Sao Paulo, Brazil native as he amassed a 17-5 singles record and a 19-6 doubles record as the 'Fish finished the year with a 21-4 record and advanced to the NCCAA National Championship Match.
