Former Palm Beach Atlantic All-American men's tennis standout Krasimir Atanasov has returned to help coach during the 2015 season.

The Sailfish No. 1-singles and No. 1-doubles player from 2008-11, Atanasov was ranked as high as No. 21 in singles and No. 17 in doubles in the NCAA Division II rankings.

His strong play at the top of the Sailfish lineup resulted in him being named a National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) All-American in all three seasons as he helped lead his team to a pair of NCCAA finals and a NCCAA National Championship as a senior.

Not only an outstanding athlete, Atanasov also performed very well in the classroom as he was inducted to the Chi Alpha Sigma society in 2010 while being named the PBA Male Athlete of the Year in 2011.

Coach Atanasov is set to graduate in May from PBA with a double major in graphic design and computer sciences.
