Returning for his second year as part of the men’s and women’s tennis coaching staff for the 2010-2011 season is Jack Sahlman.

A former four-year standout at Eastern Nazarene College in Quincy, Massachusetts, Sahlman will assist head coach Chi Ly in all aspects of the program including on-court coaching, practice sessions, recruiting, and other administrative duties. 

Sahlman is a recently certified PTR tennis professional who teaches tennis in Connecticut at the Woodridge Lake Tennis club in Goshen, CT where he had the opportunity this summer to play a doubles exhibition with Jared Palmer.  After returning from the NCCAA championships with the mens team, Jack helped coach his brother Evan to a Class M Connecticut State Championship.  Evan will play for the Sailfish this season.

Originally from Connecticut, Sahlman spent some of his youth in Argentina before returning to the states to pursue college and further his tennis career for ENC.

Sahlman is currently completing a degree in Communication Arts including Public Relations and Advertising with a minor in Visual Arts.
