The Sailfish men's basketball program has announced the hiring of Davaughn Jackson as a graduate assistant coach for the 2010-2011 season.

A former four-year standout at John Brown University, Jackson will be looked upon to assist in on-court coaching, practice sessions, recruiting, scouting, and other administrative tasks to be assigned.

While at JBU, Jackson was a two-time All-Conference 1st-Team selection in the All-Sooner Athletic Conference while earning NAIA All-American Honorable Mention honors as both a junior and senior. Jackson completed his bacherlor's of science in Sport Management and is now pursuing his master's degree in Counseling Psychology from Palm Beach Atlantic.

A native of Nassau, Bahamas, Jackson moved at the age of sixteen to Fayetteville, Arkansas where he completed high school before pursuing his collegiate playing career at John Brown in Siloam Springs, Arkansas.
