Son of Cory and Nicole Hawks... Has three siblings: Trevor, Travis and Trenton. 

2019 (Senior)
Made 10 appearances out of the bullpen for the ‘Fish, posting a 9.58 ERA and finishing with a 1-0 record … struck out 12 and walked four in his 10.1 innings of work … had six scoreless outings to begin his season, including 1.2 scoreless innings against Catawba on Feb. 3.

2018 (Junior)
Tyler made the move to the bullpen for his junior season with the Sailfish, and made 14 appearances on the year … threw 17.1 innings, finishing with a 4.67 ERA while allowing nine runs and striking out 14 batters … 10 of his 14 outings on the season were scoreless … picked up his first career save on Feb. 9 against Catawba, throwing a scoreless ninth inning while striking out two batters … threw three scoreless innings on April 3 against Barry, striking out two and allowing just one hit.

2017 (Sophomore)
Tyler made 14 appearances in his sophomore season, including 11 starts on the mound … finished with a 5.33 ERA, and a 1-3 record … went 5.1 solid innings on March 4 against No. 10 St. Edwards University, allowing just two unearned runs and striking out a season high five hitters … got the final six outs of a 9-5 victory over Barry University on April 4 … Had a scoreless start against Nova Southeastern on April 8, going 3.2 scoreless innings in a Sailfish victory.

2016 (Freshman)
Earned a spot in the weekend rotation at the start of the season…made 13 total appearances and 12 starts on the year…finished second on the team with 53.2 innings pitched…had a 5.20 ERA and a 1-5 record…earned first collegiate win against Wilmington with 6.2 innings of shutout ball…allowed just four hits in that performance…had a stretch in mid-February to mid-March where he allowed just four earned runs in 25.1 innings…struck out 27 on the year.

HIGH SCHOOL
Graduate of River Ridge High School... played third base and pitched for the Knights... named to the All-Conference team as a junior and senior, second team as a sophomore and an honorable mention selection as a freshman... also named to the Honor Roll all four years.
