PERSONAL
Born November 18th, 1994...Majoring in Accounting... Chose PBA because it was close to home and gave him a chance to play baseball... Favorite verse is Deuteronomy 31:6... Favorite sports team is the Notre Dame... Favorite athlete is Manti Te'o... Son of Jim and Kim Horner... Has one brother, Chris.

2018 (Redshirt Senior)
Sean threw just over 40 innings in his final season with the Sailfish, posting a 2-4 record and a 7.59 ERA … made seven starts on the season, striking out 56 batters while walking 38 … struck out a career high 11 batters against Tusculum in 5 innings on Feb. 3 … struck out ten against No. 18 Catawba on Feb. 9 in a no-decision … threw 6.2 innings in a win against Embry-Riddle and allowed just one run … is the all-time appearance leader for the Sailfish with his 71 pitching appearances.

2017 (Redshirt Junior)

Sean was the most reliable starter for the Sailfish in his senior season, making 12 starts and adding four relief appearances … finished the season with a team-high 72 innings pitched and a 3.75 ERA … had an opponent’s batting average of .246, and struck out 48 hitters … threw seven one-hit innings on March 2 against Winona State, striking out seven batters … went eight innings in a win over Florida Tech on March 18, striking out seven hitters and allowing just two earned runs … finished his season with the best outing of his career, taking a no-hitter into the ninth inning against Rollins College, and finishing with a complete game one-hitter where he struck out eight batters.

2016 (Junior)
Pitched eight times out of the bullpen despite battling injuries throughout the year…struck out the side against Lynn (3/4)…pitched a season-high two innings against Barry (2/23)with a pair of strikeouts…allowed just one hit in that performance against the Bucs…struck out 10 in six innings on the year, allowing just eight hits.

2015 (Sophomore)
Continued his development as a pitcher to turn into one of PBA's key relievers on the season... Tossed 38 innings over 22 games on the season, finishing with a 2-1 record and a 5.21 ERA... Notched his first collegiate win against New Haven University on March 14th... Pitched a season-high three and two-thirds innings against Nova Southeastern University on April 14th, striking out a career-best five batters while picking up his second win of the season... Also picked up his first career save with a scoreless inning of work against Toccoa Falls College in the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) South Regional.

2014 (Freshman)
Spent most of the season in the bullpen but did make two starts on the year for 26.1 innings of work... Had an 0-2 record with a 6.49 earned run average... Struck out three without any walks in four innings of work against Northwood University on February 11th... Struck out four in two innings of relief work against Florida Tech on February 22nd... Had his longest outing of the year in his final appearance, a start against Rollins College on April 30th in which he pitching into the sixth inning, striking out three and allowing four earned runs.

Attended Western High School where he pitched for Paul Barnes... Was named to the All-District team.
