Favorite athletes are Albert Pujols and Yadier Molina... Son of Kip and Pam Smith.

2012 (Redshirt Freshman)
Spent his second season with the team as a reserve first-baseman... Appeared in two games with three at-bats... Finished 2-for-3 including a double.

2011 (Freshman)
Started the season as a reserve catcher and infielder but an early-season injury shut him down for the remainder of the year... Appeared in four games while making one start behind the plate as a catcher... Had six at-bats while finishing with two hits and one run batted in.

HIGH SCHOOL
Attended Dexter High School where he competed on the diamond for four years as a catcher, third-baseman, and first-baseman for head coach Brian Becker... Named to the All-Conference listing... Honored with a spot on the All-District team.
