Made a solid impact in his first season with the team as the squad's regular starting catcher and a bat in the middle of the lineup... Appeared in 45 total games while starting 44 games behind the plate... Totaled a .297 batting average, a .476 slugging percentage, and a .422 on-base percentage in 145 at-bats with the team... Registered 43 hits while scoring 27 runs and driving in 30 runs which tied him for second on the team in RBI's... Collected 11 doubles and five homeruns... Led the team with 12 hit-by-pitches.
