Born November 4th, 1990... Majoring in Business Management... Chose PBA to grow spiritually, earn a degree, and play baseball... Favorite verse is Jeremiah 29:11... Favorite team is the Miami Marlins... Son of Edward and Christine Kies... Has two siblings, Stephen and Daniel.

2013 (Senior)
Was PBA's reliable No. 3 starter all season long... Finished with a record of 7-1 and an earned-run average of 4.38... Made starts in 11 of 12 appearances... Tossed 61 and 2/3 innings, striking out 48 batters and walking just 21... Picked up wins against Sunshine State Conference opponents Tampa, Barry, Nova Southeastern, Saint Leo, Florida Southern and Eckerd... Was named to the All-ICAA First Team... Threw three consecutive complete-game (7 inning) victories... Pitched his longest outing of the season against St. Thomas on March 9th, going 7 2/3 innings innings and allowing just one earned run, he struck out eight and walked three in the no-decision... Tied for the team lead in victories with seven.

2012 (Junior)
Emerged as a reliable left-handed starting pitcher with most of his time coming in midweek games... Appeared in 14 games while making eight starts during the course of the season... Logged 46.2 innings of work, good for third on the team while posting a 4-3 record and a 5.01 earned-run average... Struck out 43 batters while walking 14 on the season... Went a season-high seven innings on April 28th, 2012 at Barry University... Posted a season-best seven strikeouts against Caldwell College on March 13th, 2012.

2011 (Sophomore)
Once again split time as a left-handed starter in midweek games and a bullpen arm... Pitched in 10 games on the season including six starts... Produced an 0-3 record with a 6.27 earned-run average on the season... Logged 37.1 innings pitched while striking out 29 batters and walking 28... Tossed a season-high of five innings on March 3rd, 2011 againt Mercyhurst College... Struck out a season-high of five batters twice, including April 15th, 2011 against Florida Southern College an again on April 19th, 2011 versus Florida Tech.

2010 (Freshman)
Split time as a starter and reliever as a true freshman... Appeared in eight games including five starts on the season... Closed out the season with a 1-1 record with an earned-run average of 6.75 in 25.1 innings pitched for the year... Collected 18 strikeouts while registering 25 walks on the season.

HIGH SCHOOL
Attended Highlands Christian and played baseball for head coach Bruce Charlebois... Named All-County... Honored as All-State.
