Favorite teams are the Florida Marlins and the University of Alabama... Favorite athlete is Pedro Martinez... Son of Kelly Reece... Has three siblings: Hannah Reece, DJ Downs, and Mike Magrella.

2012 (Redshirt Senior)
Wrapped up his collegiate career as a bullpen arm and spot starter as a senior... Appeared in 12 games while making two starts on the season... Concluded the year with an 0-1 record and a 8.50 earned-run average... Tossed 18.0 innings of work... Posted 14 strikeouts and 11 walks... Logged a season-high of four innings in his second start against Florida Memorial University on April 24th, 2012... Registered a season-high of six strikeouts against FMU on April 24th, 2012.

2011 (Redshirt Junior)
Developed into a weekend starter who provided the team with solid innings as a right-handed hurler... Appeared in 13 total games while making 12 starts which placed him second on the team in starts... Finished with a 4-3 overall record and a 5.46 earned-run average... Logged 61 innings pitched on the season which finished as the second most on the squad... Tallied 53 striketous and walked 26 batters on the season... Registered one save on the year... Tossed a season-high of seven innings twice, once at Barry University on March 22nd, 2011 and again on April 6th, 2011 versus Saint Leo University... Tallied a season-high of seven strikeouts twice, once at Flagler College on February 18th, 2011 and against on March 29th, 2011 versus Nova Southeastern University.

Attended Park Vista Community High School where he played for coaches Dax Rankine, Larry Greenstein, and Stew Greenstein... Named to the All-District 1st-Team.
