Born April 23rd, 1991... Majoring in Business Management with a minor in Physical Education... Chose PBA because it is a Christian University close to home... Favorite verse is Isaiah 55:9... Favorite teams are the Florida Marlins and the Florida Gators... Favorite athlete is Josh Hamilton... Son of Wayne and Dolores Perla... Has one sibling: Kayla.

2014 (Redshirt Senior)
Finished up his five-year career at Palm Beach Atlantic with a fine senior season... Served as the primary leadoff man and centerfielder for the Sailfish in his final season, finishing with a .271 batting average and an on-base percentage of .337... Missed time because of nagging injuries, but still managed to lead the team in stolen bases with 19... Had 13 multi-hit games on the season, while also registering 7 multi-run games... Went 2-for-4 with three runs scored against Ave Maria on February 26th... Had two three-hit games games, once against Florida Tech on March 11th and again against Nova Southeastern on March 28th.

2013 (Redshirt Junior)
Two separate injuries limited him to just 27 total games this season... Hit .283 with 18 runs scored and 17 runs driven in as the centerfielder in 26 contests... Finished 9-for-11 in stolen bases on the season... Tallied five multi-hit and multi-RBI games on the season... Drove in three runs on two separate occassions... Was 1-for-1 with a double, two walks, and three runs scored in his final game of the season against Florida Southern on March 29th... Went 3-for-4 with a double, two runs scored and three RBI in PBA's 7-2 victory over North Georgia on February 2nd.

2012 (Redshirt Sophomore)
Remained a solid contributor in centerfield while batting mostly near the bottom of the lineup... Appeared in 39 games while making 37 starts in centerfield... Registered a .256 batting average in 121 at-bats with 31 hits including three doubles... Scored 17 runs while driving in 13 runs on the season... Led the team with 13 stolen-bases in 13 attempts... Walked 10 times... Collected seven multi-hit games including a season-best three hits in three different games... Scored multiple runs in a game four times... Registered five outfield assists with only one error for a .990 fielding percentage.

2011 (Redshirt Freshman)
Established himself as the team's starting centerfielder and a player who utilizes his speed but missed signifigant time due to injury... Played in 37 total games while making 35 starts in centerfield... Finished third on the team in hitting at .303 over the course of 119 at-bats... Registered 36 total hits including three doubles... Scored 24 runs while driving in nine runs on the season... Drew nine walks while finishing second on the team in stolen bases with 12 in 14 attempts... Posted eight multi-hit games including a season high of three hits twice... Drove in a season-high three runs and scored three runs while going 3-for-6 against Flagler College on February 19th, 2011. 

2010 (Freshman)
Sat out the 2010 season while red-shirting with the baseball program.

HIGH SCHOOL
Attended Highlands Christian Academy where he competed on the baseball diamond for head coach Bruce Charlebois... Honored as All-State 1st-Team... Selected to the All-County 1st-Team.
