Born February 17th, 1994... Majoring in Accounting... Chose PBA because of the location... His career aspiration is to only work for himself, travel the world, and retire at 30... Favorite sports team are the Tampa Bay Rays and the Florida State Seminoles... Favorite athletes are Tim Lincecum, LeBron James, Jameis Winston... Son of Randy and Sandy Russell... Has one brother: Matthew.

2016 (Senior)
Made 14 starts and 15 appearances on the season…led the team with 69.1 innings and finished with a 6.23 ERA…picked up only win in final start against Rollins (5/5) after four shutout innings…moved from midweek starter to weekend starter in mid-February…pitched 5.1 innings against American International allowing just one run and three hits with six strikeouts…struck out 10 against Eckerd (4/15) in 7.1 innings…finished second on the team with 63 strikeouts on the season.

2015 (Junior)
One of the most trusted arms out of the bullpen for PBA, establishing himself as the closer while seeing action in a team-high 23 games... Threw 33 and one-third innings on the season, working a 2-2 record with a 4.32 ERA while picking up three saves... Earned his Sailfish save against Nova Southeastern on February 23rd when he threw one and two-thirds innings and struck out two to preserve a 4-2 victory... Picked up his first PBA win against Florida Southern College on February 27th when he allowed just one base hit over two innings while striking out a pair... Struck out a career-high eight batters over three and two-thirds innings in the final game of the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) World Series against Lee University.

2014 (Sophomore)
Was used as an arm out of the bullpen on 13 occurances during the season, while also making two starts... Pitched 21.1 innings with a 10.12 ERA and a final win-loss record of 0-2... Worked a season-high four innings on two different occasions, including in a start against Ave Maria on February 26th... Struck out four batters in his final start of the season against Nova Southeastern on April 29th.

Attended Tallahassee Community College where he played baseball and also attended Florida State University

HIGH SCHOOL
A 2012 graduate of Countryside High School where he played for Kevin O'Sullivan... He was both a pitcher and middle infielder and was named team MVP his senior year and a Pinellas County All-Star.
