Palm Beach Atlantic University Athletics

Ryan Holmes begins his third season on the Palm Beach Atlantic University baseball staff for the 2010-2011 academic year.  Holmes is the top assistant for head coach Gary Carter while also handling the role of Recruiting Coordinator.

A former outfielder at Pepperdine University, Holmes works with the Sailfish outfielders in addition to his recruiting coordinator responsibilities as well as assisting Coach Carter with game preparation, scouting, and other assigned duties. 

Having spent the 2010 season under Carter's leadership, Holmes and the rest of the coaching staff helped the PBA baseball program improve to 17 regular season wins in 2010 after only seven regular season victories in 2009.

Holmes earned his undergraduate degree in Sport Management from the University of the Pacific before completing his MBA in Marketing at California Lutheran University.

Holmes is married to his wife Kristie and the couple has two children, Kayla and Camden.  The couple resides in West Palm Beach.
