Gerber joins the coaching staff in 2019, and played for the Sailfish in the 2014 and 2015 seasons.  He batted .286 in his time with the Sailfish and collected over 100 hits in two seasons as well as eight triples and 18 stolen bases.  Gerber also competed collegiately for the University of North Dakota (NCAA D1) and Pima Community College (NJCAA).
