Palma joined the Sailfish baseball staff prior to the 2023 season. He had playing experience as a pitcher at St. Joseph College and Queens College before earning his Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Stony Brook. At PBA, Palma will serve as an assistant pitching coach and as the first-base coach during the season.
Palma went on to receive his graduate degree in  Sports Administration at the University of Miami. He has youth coaching experience with the Long Island Jr Ducks and at Somerset Academy Key Charter School. He has coaching experience at Gulliver Prep High School and as a pitching coach for the Delray Beach Lightning.
