Joined the Sailfish baseball program as an assistant coach prior to the 2023-24 school year. 

Prior to joining the Sailfish, Coffman spent two years at Bluefield College where he pitched for the Rams. Prior to playing with Bluefield College Coffman pitched at Campbellsville University during the 2018-19 season. He has coaching experience in the South Florida Collegiate League where he coached with PBA assistant head coach Beau McMillan and at the high school level at Conneaut Lake HS.
