PERSONAL
Born September 25th, 1996... Majoring in Finance... Aspires to become a Major League Baseball player ... Chose PBA for many reasons: close to home, environment, the coaches and baseball program ... Favorite Major League Baseball team is the St. Louis Cardinals ... Favorite athlete is LeBron James... Favorite Bible verse is Luke 1:37... Son of Hilda and Rudy Perez... Has one brother: Rudy, Jr.

2019 (Senior)
Started all 49 games for the Sailfish behind the plate in 2019 … batted .229 on the season while scoring 23 runs and clubbing two homers … very reliable behind the plate on the season, allowing only 30 stolen bases in 48 attempts on the year … went 3-for-4 with a run and an RBI in a win over Barry on March 20 … went 2-for-4 with a three-run blast against Lynn in the final game of the season on May 5.

2018 (Junior)
Marcos spent his junior season as the backup catcher for the Sailfish, making 19 starts and playing in 23 total games … batted .212 on the year, scoring 13 runs and collecting nine RBI … Clubbed his first career home run on April 27 against Florida Tech in a Sailfish victory … Finished the season with four hits in his final seven at-bats, which included four RBI and two extra-base hits.

2017 (Sophomore)

Marcos split time with Ryan Johnson as the team’s starting catcher, catching in 23 games behind the plate in his sophomore season … finished with a .247 batting average, going 21-for-85 at the plate … scored 21 runs on the season, and hat a 3-for-6 day with three runs scored against Embry-Riddle on Feb. 11 … threw out 41 percent (13 of 32) of runners stealing on the season … also picked off four runners on the bases.

2016 (Freshman)
Played in 14 games on the season with eight starts overall…made six starts at catcher and two as DH…batted .333 overall on the season with 13 hits…drove in five overall…picked up first career hit against Colorado Christian (2/8) and also had first multi-hit game against the Cougars…picked up first extra base hit in first start, against Barry (2/23).

HIGH SCHOOL
Graduated from Belen Jesuit High School where he played catcher for Jerry Albert... Named Most Valuable Player in 2014-15... Nominated to the Miami Dade All-Star Game... Also named to the Honor Roll for four years.
