ORLANDO, Fla. — Palm Beach Atlantic volleyball setter Katie Silcott has been named the Sunshine State Conference Setter of the Week following a 2-0 week for the Sailfish.

Silcott helped lead PBA to victories over Embry-Riddle and Rollins, directing the Sailfish offense to 81 assists across eight sets. She opened the week with 32 assists in a three-set sweep of Embry-Riddle before recording a season-high 49 assists in a five-set victory over Rollins.

The sophomore averaged 10.13 assists per set during the week while also contributing 26 digs, five kills and two aces. Silcott recorded 21 digs against Rollins and helped PBA secure its second five-set victory of the season.

The weekly honor marks Silcott's first recognition by the Sunshine State Conference following her strong start to her freshman season.

Palm Beach Atlantic returns to action this Thursday when it travels to face Barry in Miami Shores, Fla.
