WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – On Thursday, Jonah Leach was named the SSC Men's Golfer of the Week for his performance at the Griffin Invitational Tournament.
 
Leach earned an individual win, and led the team to a first-place finish. Leach finished with a score of 205 (63-68-74), besting the competition by two strokes. His opening round of nine under par was the best individual round of the tournament by four strokes. Leach's first round was the second lowest score in program history. His total score puts him third overall in program history. In the tournament, Leach earned one eagle and 13 birdies.
 
This was Leach's first tournament as a Sailfish, earning his first SSC honor, and his best collegiate individual and total scores.
