WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - Five student-athletes from Palm Beach Atlantic University were recognized for their hard work in the classroom and on the field as the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association announced its Academic Honor Roll. The 2025-26 IWCLA Honor Roll, selected by the IWCLA, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom.

Women's Lacrosse has had five student athletes recognized for their hard work as Taryn Thompson, Kaitlyn Gallagher, and Isabelle Tapia all were given the honor for the very first time in their careers. Kendall Borbi and Georgia Karns return to the honor roll for the second time in their careers.

This marks the second straight year that Women's Lacrosse has had five nominees named to the honor roll, this does however, mark the first time in program history that a player has earned the honor more than once in their career.

For each athlete named to this list this has not been their only academic honor awarded to them this year. For Kendall Borbi and Taryn Thompson, they were both named to the President's List and SSC Commissioner's Honor Roll for their academic achievements. Kaitlyn Gallagher, Georgia Karns, and Isabelle Tapia were all named to the Provost's List and joined their fellow teammates on the SSC Commissioner's Honor Roll.

This year the IWCLA had honored 568 student-athletes from 65 different programs on the 2025-26 IWLCA Division II Academic Honor Roll. To be eligible to be named to the list, student-athletes must be a junior, senior, or graduate student and have earned a cumulative academic GPA of 3.50 or greater.
