WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - Palm Beach Atlantic athletics has announced the hiring of Gianna Farina as the new Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach.
Gianna joins the Sailfish after completing her master's degree in Strength and Conditioning at Springfield College where she was apart of the swim team during the 2024-25 season.
"I'm happy to welcome Gianna Farina to our Strength and Conditioning staff," said Head Strength Coach Elliot Walters, "Her athletic background, education, and coaching experience will enhance our department's ability to provide care for our 350+ student-athletes."
Gianna's athletic background is one of a kind, prior to Springfield, she was a part of NCAA Division I Rider University's swim and dive team where she was an All-MAAC Academic team member twice, and made appearances in the ECAC and MAAC Championships. Her dad was a swimmer himself at Rutgers University and is currently the Head Coach at NJIT.

"I'm excited to be part of a program that values both performance and all-around development of our student athletes. There are great things coming and I can't wait to get started!"
