BOCA RATON, Fla. — Palm Beach Atlantic (6-8, 1-4) secured a 12-10 victory over Lynn University (2-9, 0-6) on Wednesday at Bobby Campbell Stadium. The Sailfish capitalized on a strong fourth quarter, scoring four goals to clinch the win.

Cooper Porter contributed significantly with two goals and two assists, including the game-winning goal. Lucas Sharrer made an impact by scoring a season-high three goals, one of which was an extra-man goal. Zion Lee added to the scoring effort with two goals and an assist. Gabe Eckhart bolstered the offense by netting two goals.

The 'Fish began the first quarter with momentum, winning the initial faceoff and quickly capitalizing with a goal by Lee, assisted by Porter, at 14:08. Lee extended the team's lead with another goal at 12:02, showcasing its efficient offensive start.

The Fighting Knights responded by narrowing the gap with a goal at 9:34, before scoring three more consecutive goals to take a 4-2 lead. Mitch Rini and Mario Leone were instrumental in this stretch, each contributing to the scoring surge.

Palm Beach Atlantic closed the quarter strong, with Braylon Baker finding the net with just 28 seconds remaining, assisted by Porter. The quarter concluded with the Sailfish trailing 5-3.

The 'Fish began the second quarter by capitalizing on a clear, as Porter scored early, narrowing the scoreline. Lynn responded with a timeout, but a turnover caused by Ryan O'Dare shifted momentum back to the Sailfish, leading to a successful clear and soon after, Sharrer, assisted by Noah Zimmerman, found the net to bring the score to 5-5.

Despite Lynn briefly regaining the advantage with two goals, Palm Beach Atlantic kept pressure on the defense. A man-up opportunity late in the quarter allowed Sharrer to score again, leveling the game at 7-7. The Sailfish maintained possession as the quarter closed, ensuring the match remained tightly contested.

Palm Beach Atlantic initiated the third quarter with a strong defensive play as William Santella caused a turnover, leading to an early goal by Patrick Law. Following the score, the 'Fish capitalized on a faceoff win, maintaining possession and pressure.
