MIAMI SHORES, Fla.- The Palm Beach Atlantic women's golf team finished tied for second at The Buccaneer Invitational, posting a final score of +27.
Abby Smith shone brightly, securing a second-place individual finish with a remarkable +1.
Smith anchored the Sailfish performance, maintaining a steady pace throughout the tournament.
Celia Schrecker also impressed, clinching seventh place with a +6 overall after an initial round of +5. Adding depth,
Nina Gudgeon finished 13th, navigating through a challenging start to end at +9.
The 'Fish displayed a commendable effort, tying for second at the event with a collective 27-over par. Their performance peaked in the second round with an impressive 2-over par score, a strong improvement from a 13-over start.
Schrecker contributed significantly, finishing seventh with a +6 score, while Gudgeon added a solid 13th place with a final score of +9.
Annika Miller completed the top 20 finishers for PBA, finishing with an 11-over par. Despite their strong showing, the Sailfish narrowly missed the top spot, just one stroke shy of victory.
The Sailfish return to the course next week when they head to the Rollins Invitational.
