WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. — The Palm Beach Atlantic volleyball team swept Lee 25-15, 25-18, 26-24 on Friday inside a raucous Rubin Arena. The Sailfish dominated the match with a strong offensive performance, recording a .271 hitting percentage. The 'Fish had a notable serving edge, tallying eight aces to the Flames' two, contributing to their decisive victory.
Freshman,
Lexi Berry led the way for Palm Beach Atlantic with nine kills and contributed 10 digs in three sets, hitting an efficient .350.
Grace Reynolds was effective at the service line, recording four aces while also adding 24 assists.
Rachel Smith added to the offensive effort with 10 kills and contributed a block while hitting .273.
Harper Stokes was a defensive presence with four total blocks and added four kills to her performance, hitting a team-best .375.

The Sailfish opened the second set with Reynolds delivering a service ace, setting an early tone. The team capitalized on several service errors from Lee and strong blocking, with Smith and Stokes contributing to defensive stops. Berry and Reynolds showcased effective offensive play, with Berry securing the final point at 25-18 after a set from
Maggie Patterson, marking a decisive performance for the home team.
The third set featured a tense battle as both teams traded points early, with PBA finding rhythm behind Berry and Reynolds. The 'Fish capitalized on Lee's service errors and executed a crucial 5-1 run, highlighted by a service ace from
Sofia Augusto and key blocks from Stokes and Berry, to secure a 26-24 victory. Smith delivered the final blow with a kill from Reynolds, followed by a decisive service ace from
Liani Sierra to close the set.
The Sailfish move to an 8-1 overall record. The 'Fish look to pick up two more wins tomorrow with matches against the University of Missouri-Saint Louis and Flagler. The first match of the day starts at 10am with the match against Flagler taking place at 4 p.m.
