WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - The Palm Beach Atlantic women's golf team announced the hiring of
Riley Hamilton and
Emme Lantis as graduate assistants on the staff of head coach
Tim Graham. Hamilton and Lantis both competed on the Sailfish squad last season.
Riley Hamilton transferred to PBA after spending time at East Carolina and Florida International for her graduate season. A key part of the first Sailfish women's golf team to make regionals, Hamilton averaged 76.30 strokes per round which was the second-lowest single-season stroke average in program history. She won the Seminole State Invitational. She had a second-place finish at the Seahawk Shootout which included a season-low 67 in the third round which is also the lowest single round in program history.
Emme Lantis competed on the Sailfish women's golf team for five years. Lantis played in 37 tournaments over her five-year career with PBA. Her best career finishes came at the Seminole State Invitational where she finished tied for 16
th during her senior and fifth seasons. Her career low came at the Lady Matlock Classic where she shot a 73.
"I feel incredibly blessed to give back to PBA for all the opportunities the university and athletics program have given me. My time here shaped me on and off the course, and I'm proud to support a place that's had such a lasting impact. Go Fish!" Lantis contributes.
The new coaches on Graham's staff look to build upon the most successful season in program history that saw the Sailfish narrowly miss out on making the DII national championship tournament. PBA kicks off the season at the Seahawk Shootout next Monday hosted at PGA National in West Palm Beach.
