Women's Soccer Picked Tenth In Preseason SSC Poll

8/13/2025 11:00:00 AM

MELBOURNE, Fla.- The Palm Beach Atlantic women's soccer team was picked to finish in tenth place in the preseason Sunshine State Conference poll for the upcoming 2025 season.  The poll is voted on by the head coaches of the conference.

Stephanie Cradduck, heading into her second season with the Sailfish, is coming off the program's best season since 2021 and looks to build on that success. PBA went 7-7-2 with a 3-6-1 record in league play this past season.

The Sailfish return key starters from last year's team including Aidan McCausland, Emily Rinaldi, Anna Foreman and Madison Kovar among others. Coach Cradduck also welcomes a massive class of 11 freshman who want to make an immediate impact on the Sailfish squad.

Florida Tech, after winning the 2024 SSC Championship before bowing out in the third round of the NCAA DII tournament, reprise their number one spot in the 2025 preseason poll with 7 first-place votes. Nova Southeastern follows right behind them with three first-place votes. Rollins rounds out the top three in the poll.

The Sailfish kick off their 2025 slate with a two game road trip to Georgia when they take on Thomas and Valdosta on the weekend of September 5. PBA returns home to the Rinker Athletic Campus to kick off the home portion of the schedule when Middle Georgia State makes their way to West Palm Beach for the home opener which also serves as the Sailfish senior day. The Sailfish home schedule also includes a gauntlet of teams from the SSC including Florida Tech, Nova Southeastern, and Embry-Riddle.
