WEST PALM BEACH, Fla.- The Palm Beach Atlantic dropped their midweek matchup with Bentley on Wednesday evening by a score of 7-3.  

The Sailfish gave up the game's first run in the top of the first inning on an RBI single given up by Daniel Foster. However, the Sailfish would return the favor in the bottom of the first with a sacrifice fly from Matthew Faranda that scored Trey Miranda.  

The Falcons would go on to score six unanswered runs after the Faranda RBI to go up 7-1. The Sailfish finally responded in the bottom of the seventh via an Aaron Vetter solo shot to bring the game to 7-2. The big blast over the left field fence is the first of Vetter's collegiate career. The Sailfish added a run in the bottom of the eighth on a Raymond Hawkins sacrifice fly that scored Ben Green. The Sailfish threatened in the ninth but were unable to scratch anything across.  

Daniel Foster, Elijah Budiac, Gavin Ingram, Liam Martin, Carter Parent, Jimmie Buhl and Zachary Orloff all saw action for the Sailfish on the mound. Budiac ended up with the loss.  

The Sailfish return to action this weekend when the #1 Tampa Spartans travel to West Palm Beach for a three-game series at the J.M. 'Jake' Rubin Park. First pitch on Friday is slated for 6:00 p.m.
