WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - Palm Beach Atlantic University Director of Athletics Courtney Lovely Evans has announced Allie Busch will take over the cross country program as the interim head coach for the 2024 cross country season.

I am so thankful for Allie's willingness to step up and lead our programs for the fall season," Lovely Evans said. "I believe this is the best thing for our program, and am confident Allie will lead them well throughout the cross country season."

Busch has been a part of the Sailfish running program since joining as an assistant prior to the 2022 season. She has served in an administrative and coaching role for while on staff helping both men's and women's teams to their highest SSC Championship finishes in program history.

"I am excited to continue working with this talented team of athletes," said Busch. "I appreciate the opportunity and all of the support from the athletic staff at PBA and I looking forward to a great season."

Busch has extensive experience in training and coaching at the high school and amateur track level. She comes to PBA from Oxbridge Academy in West Palm Beach, where she served as assistant track and field and cross country coach. In this role, she developed the training schedule and workouts for distance runners and was involved in the recreational coaching of amateur runners in distances from 5k to the marathon.

Busch holds a Master of Science in Coaching and Exercise Science from Concordia University in Irvine, California; a Master of Arts in Coaching and Athletic Administration from Concordia University; and a Bachelor of Science in Western Equestrian Studies and Equine Business Management from the University of Findlay in Findlay, Ohio.
