WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - The PBA men's tennis team played their last match of the season against Keiser. The 'Fish were downed 6-1 with the one point coming from an early retirement by Keiser.
In doubles play, Roberto Binaghi and Luis Eduardo Platas lost a close match with a finals core of 7-6 (7-4). Peter Drager and Marko Visontai were downed 6-3, while the pair of Axel Reich and Juan Fernandez failed to notch a game (6-0).
In singles play, Binaghi fell 7-6 (7-3), 6-3. On court two, Platas' opponent retired after having won the first set 7-5 resulting in the Sailfish taking the point. Juanifer Contreras dropped his match 7-5, 6-1. Playing fourth singles, Fernandez lost 6-0, 6-1. Visontai, on court five, was defeated 6-0, 6-3. Noah Muyale, playing on court six lost 6-1, 6-3.
The Sailfish were 4-15 overall this season and 1-6 in conference play. Be on the lookout for the 2024-2025 season next school year.
