Bella Marchiano who found the back of the net for the eighth time this season. The home side scored the next five goals of the game before
Ella Howlin found
Rachel Delate for the goal. The Panthers added one more as they reached the ten-goal margin needed for a running clock, leading 12-2 after the first.
Courtney Rausch got the start in net for PBA, but she was removed for
Georgia Karns after 12 minutes of play. Neither goalie was able to have much success as they combined to make six saves while allowing 21 goals. The Sailfish were outshot 31-20 for the game while the 'Fish trailed 15-2 at the half.
Delate finished with three goals for the game as she continued to lead the team with 39 goals on the season. PBA was able to score seven goals in the second half, but they never got the deficit below 11 goals.
Sara Metheny led PBA with two ground balls while
Katie Caras led the defense by forcing two turnovers.Â
The Sailfish have a quick turnaround as they are back in action on Tuesday. PBA plays host to a Lynn side that is 10-1 on the season and carries a 1-1 record in conference play entering today.
