WEST PALM BEACH, Fla.- The Palm Beach Atlantic men's tennis team lost 6-1 to the Rollins Tars.
The lone victory for the Sailfish came from Juanfer Contreras playing third singles. He defeated his opponent with a final score of 4-6, 6-3, 1-0 (10-3). Roberto Binaghi lost 6-1, 6-3, while Luis Platas fell 6-0, 6-3. On court four Marko Visontai dropped his match 6-1, 6-1. Senior Juan Fernandez fell to his opponent 6-1 in the first set, but put up a fight in set two (5-7). Freshman Matthew Young, playing on court six, lost 6-4, 6-2.
On doubles court one, Binaghi and Platas dropped their match 6-3. The duo of Contreras and Visontai fell 6-1, while Fernandez and Young dropped their match 6-0.
