WEST PALM BEACH FLA. - On Monday afternoon the PBA men's tennis team matched up against Jefferson University.
The 'Fish lost 6-1 with Luis Eduardo Platas being the only player to win his team a point. With a final score of 5-7, 7-6 (10-8), 1-0 (10-2) this brings Platas to a three-win streak. On singles court one, Roberto Binaghi lost 6-3, 6-4, while Peter Drager fell 7-5, 6-1 on court three. Marko Visontai dropped his match at 6-1, 6-2. Noah Muyale, playing fifth singles, lost his match 6-1, 6-4. Making his third appearance in singles play, Matthew Young won his first set, but ultimately lost his match 2-6, 6-4, 1-0 (10-6).
In doubles play, the tandem of Juanfer Contreras and Juan Fernandez fell 6-2. On doubles court three the pair Drager and Muyale had the same outcome. On court two, Axel Reich and Young lost 6-4.
