WEST PALM BEACH, Fla - The Palm Beach Atlantic men's tennis team suffered a 6-1 loss to Florida Southern on Saturday at the Mitch Gornto Tennis Center.
In doubles competition, the 'Fish took 1/3 matches.
Roberto Binaghi and
Luis Eduardo Platas dropped their match 6-1.
Noah Muyale and
Axel Reich fell 6-0. The lone victory in doubles competition came from the PBA pair of
Juanfer Contreras and
Marko Visontai. The tandem earned their second win of the season with a score of 6-3.
In singles competition, Binghi won the 'Fish a point with a final score of 6-4, 3-6, 10-3. On singles court two Platas fell 6-3, 6-3 with Contreras having the same outcome on court three.
Peter Drager was defeated 6-1, 3-6, 4-6 in a three-set match. Visontai dropped his match 6-1, 6-2. On court six Juan Fernadez was defeated 6-4, 6-3.
Next, the Sailfish travel to Ave Maria for their match up on Tuesday Feb. 20th.
