WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – The Palm Beach Atlantic men's basketball team returned to action after a week-long hiatus, hosting Trinity Baptist College.
The Sailfish dominated the Eagles from the opening tip. PBA's stingy and aggressive defense held TBC under 40 percent from the field and forced 23 turnovers in the contest. The 'Fish offense shot 60 percent in the game and had five players score double digits on the way to a 111-56 win.
Joshua Ward led the 'Fish with 23 points, going 8-for-9 from the floor with four 3-pointers and three assists.
Micah Jones scored 14 points off the bench with seven rebounds and two assists.
Tyler Burton added 12 points with five assists and four rebounds.
Broderick Ellis tallied 11 points with five boards and three assists.
Kollin Claridy recorded 10 points, four rebounds, and two dimes.

Alvin Tumblin Jr. scored eight points each.
PBA wasted little time shaking off the rust on defense. The 'Fish forced a barrage of turnovers in the first half, leading to buckets on the offensive end. The Eagles turned it over 12 times in the first half, leading to 17 points. Ward led the 'Fish with 14 in the first half, catching fire with three 3-pointers. PBA entered the locker room with a 52-18 lead at the break.
The Sailfish continued their balanced attack in the second half. Ward went a perfect 4-for-4 from the field in the period. Jones got hot off the bench, scoring 10 points with six boards. PBA's defense forced 11 more turnovers, resulting in 11 points for PBA. The Sailfish cruised to a 111-56 wire-to-wire win.
PBA made life difficult for the Eagles all day, as the visitors shot 1-for-15 from beyond the arc. The 'Fish won the rebounding battle 38-32 and finished with 13 second-chance points.
The Sailfish travel to Saint Leo for two nonconference games before the new year. PBA faces off against Alaska Fairbanks on Friday at 7:30 p.m. before taking on Ashland at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
