Valdosta, Ga.- The Palm Beach Atlantic women's basketball team fell to West Florida 109-73 in the final game of the SSC-GSC crossover at Valdosta on Friday afternoon. 

The Sailfish had a tough time defending Haidyn Pitsch and Rylie Stephens with each Argo scoring 26 points. Gabrielle Wener had her second consecutive game with 20+ points to start the season with a 23-point performance.  

Carleigh Andrews and Kash Ayuso were the other highest scorers for the Sailfish with 10 points each. Natalie Allen scored the first points of her college career with two three-pointers for six points.  

Gabrielle Wener and Anabel Ellison led the Sailfish in rebounds with eight and seven, respectively.  

The Sailfish return to action on Tuesday night when they head to Rollins in early season SSC action at 6 p.m.
