LAKELAND, Fla.- The Palm Beach Atlantic women's cross country team finished in 4th place on Friday morning at the 2024 SSC Championships.

Dominyka Petraskaite, who has been a top runner for the Sailfish all season, finished in 6th place in the meet with a time of 22:23.7. Petraskaite, a grad transfer from Temple, has finished inside the top 10 in all three of her outings this season. With another stellar performance at the NCAA regionals, she could potentially qualify for Nationals.

Sadie Nordmeyer was the next closest Sailfish runner and finished in 17th with a time of 23:19.2. With times of 23:41.2 and 24:05.6, Amberleigh Sorensen and Hannah Parker came across the line in 24th and 31st places, respectively. 

Nella Petersen was the fifth member of the squad to come across the line. With a time of 24:42.1, she finished in 44th place.
The Sailfish' next meet is the NCAA Tournament Reigonal in Huntsville, Alabama on November 9th.
