SATELLITE BEACH, Fla.- The Palm Beach Atlantic women's tennis team dropped its match to No. 21 St. Mary's 6-1.
The lone victory for the 'Fish came on singles court three.
Alessia Passerini picked up her sixth singles victory of the season over Elena Munoz 6-4, 7-5. On singles court one,
Alina Hoermann fell 6-2, 6-0.
Greta Langiu was defeated 6-0, 6-4.
Elvira Edstrom dropped her match 6-3, 6-2. On singles court six,
Frida Alsterhem fell 6-1, 7-6 (7-3.)
Jasmine Williams took her match to three sets, but was defeated 6-3, 4-6, 10-6.
The Sailfish dropped all three matches in doubles play. The PBA pair of
Cecilia Peroni and Langiu were defeated on doubles court one 6-2. The tandem of
Svea Crohn and Edstrom were downed 6-1.
Giovana Kelm and
Anabelle Robichaud dropped their match 7-5.
Next, the Sailfish host Eckerd on Monday, Mar. 20 at the Mitch Gornto Tennis Center.
