WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - The Palm Beach Atlantic women's tennis team notched its third victory of the season over Ferris State 4-3.
The 'Fish dropped the doubles point but rallied in singles play. On singles court one,
Svea Crohn picked up her fourth victory of the season. Crohn defeated FSU's Morgan Waller 6-4, 6-0.
Greta Langiu earned a three-set victory over Ana Hernandez 2-6, 7-5, 6-4. On singles court three,
Cecilia Peroni picked up her 10th career singles victory over Parker Nolan 6-2, 6-0.
Frida Alsterhem defeated Kennedy Dumas 6-2, 7-6 (7-3.) The win marks Alsterhem's ninth career victory in singles play.
On singles court three,
Elvira Edstrom took her match to three sets, but fell 4-6, 6-4, 6-3. Additionally,
Avery Brothers dropped her match in three sets 6-3, 4-6, 6-1. The lone victory for the 'Fish in doubles play came from the pair of
Jasmine Williams and Crohn. The tandem defeated Waller and Hernandez 6-2.
Anabelle Robichaud and
Jelsyvette Croes were defeated in a tight 7-5 match. On doubles court three,
Elvira Edstrom and
Giovana Kelm dropped their match 6-4.
