LAKELAND, Fla. -- Earlier today, the Palm Beach Atlantic women's golf team finished up the final round of the Lady Mocs Classic, hosted by fellow Sunshine State Conference member Florida Southern. The Sailfish finished 13th out of 18 teams and over 100 golfers.
Mackenzie McCormack continued to be the leader for the Sailfish as she has for most of this golf season. She finished the final round -3 which placed her in a tie for 24th place.
Celia Schrecker was the second highest placement for the Sailfish in this tournament. She finished in a tie for 32nd with a final round score of +3. Maria Hoyos from Lynn University took home the individual win, going -10 across all three rounds. Lynn also came away with the overall team win with four of their golfers placing in the top 10.
Nina Gudgeon finished in a tie for 62nd,
Skye Bruen finished in a tie for 67th place, and
Annika Miller ended the tournament in 93rd place to round out the placements for Sailfish. PBA will tee off again on Mar. 13 for the Peggy Kirk Bell Invitational.
